Better World Green Public Company Limited (SET: BWG) and Earth Tech Environment Public Company Limited (SET: ETC) have informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand regarding the sale of investments in their subsidiaries and affiliates, as previously announced on July 15, 2025. The companies provided further details to clarify the transaction for shareholders and investors.
According to the statement, Gulf West to Energy Holdings Company Limited (GWTE) is acquiring shares solely in BWG’s subsidiary, Circular Camp Company Limited (CC), which includes three industrial waste-to-fuel plant projects that have not yet commenced construction.
GWTE is also purchasing shares in ETC’s subsidiary and affiliate: Get Green Power Company Limited (GGP) and Suntech Innovation Power Company Limited (SIP). These acquisitions involve twelve new power plant projects, none of which have commenced construction.
BWG and ETC emphasized that the divestment does not involve ETC’s three existing power plants, which continue normal electricity production and sales to the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA). As such, the companies’ core businesses remain unaffected by this transaction.
In addition, BWG and ETC reaffirmed that they continue to operate as usual and remain committed to sustainable growth. Their focus remains on efficient industrial waste management, minimizing environmental pollution, supporting reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, and lowering waste from production processes. The companies will continue advancing waste-to-energy conversion initiatives, in line with the government’s Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG) policy.
