Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, stated that the TAT is proud to announce that Lalisa “Lisa” Manoban has accepted the position of “Amazing Thailand Ambassador” to showcase the charm of Thailand as a leading global tourist destination.
Lisa’s role as the “Amazing Thailand Ambassador” is considered a source of pride for Thai people, with her internationally recognized achievements. She represents a powerful voice to share stories of Thailand’s beauty and unique identity on a global scale.
This collaboration between TAT, its “Amazing Thailand” brand, and “Lisa” is expected not only to boost interest in Thai tourism but also to affirm the enduring values of Thai culture, as well as the warmth and hospitality of the Thai people, demonstrating Thailand’s readiness to deliver impressive experiences to all visitors.
Krungsri Securities (KSS) sees Lisa’s appointment as the Amazing Thailand Ambassador as a positive sentiment for investment in the tourism and service sector. The presence of a world-class presenter reinforces Thailand’s image among international tourists and is likely to accelerate tourist numbers recovery in 4Q25 into early 2026.
KSS estimates that Lisa’s role as a promotional representative will help expand new tourist bases, particularly from East Asia and her global fan base, who hold strong influence over travel and lifestyle spending decisions.
From an investment strategy perspective, KSS recommends investors monitor stocks that stand to benefit directly, such as hotel groups: CENTEL and ERW. For airlines, AOT and BA are in focus, as well as retail groups related to tourist spending, such as CPALL, CPAXT, and BJC.
In addition, this factor is expected to create a positive sentiment for tourism and service-related stocks in the short term, and could prompt the market to refocus on the Soft Power and Tourism Recovery theme in the final stretch of this year.
