TRUE Sees 2,600% Spike in “Pao Tang” App Use During ‘Half-Half Plus’ Co-Payment Registrations

True Corporation (SET: TRUE) reported mobile data showing a dramatic rise in “Pao Tang” app activity among True and dtac customers on the first day of registration for the government’s “Khon La Khrueng Plus” co-payment scheme, between 06:00 and 22:00. The number of users accessing the app increased by more than 2,600% compared with typical levels, reflecting overwhelming public participation nationwide.

To ensure seamless connectivity, True Corporation activated a Warroom at the Business Intelligence Center (BIC), its AI-powered network operations hub, to monitor and manage network performance 24 hours a day so that customers of both True and dtac could rely on smooth and stable service throughout the registration period.

Regional usage rankings indicated that Bangkok and the metropolitan area recorded the highest app activity, followed by the Northeastern, Central and Western, Eastern, Southern, and Northern regions.

Top five provinces by app usage:

True Corporation highlighted that the BNIC Warroom operated continuously to manage the registration system in real time, covering both mobile and broadband networks of True and dtac. The teams also oversaw OTP and SMS verification systems, ensuring fast and accurate message delivery. Network and IT engineers were deployed ahead of the opening to monitor system stability, data transmission speed, and connection security throughout the day.
