On Tuesday at 2:20 PM (Bangkok time), the share price of Banpu Public Company Limited (SET: BANPU) jumped by 4.24% or THB 0.20 to THB 4.92, with a trading value of THB 764.46 million.
Kasikorn Securities (KS) noted that U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports hit a record high for the second consecutive month in November, reaching 10.9 million tonnes, up from 10.1 million tonnes in October.
The growth was driven by colder weather, which pushed gas demand for processing to a new record of around 18–19 billion cubic feet per day.
Europe remains the primary importing region, receiving 70% of U.S. LNG shipments, while Turkey substantially increased its imports. The brokerage firm views this development as positive for BANPU.
