SCG Packaging Public Company Limited (SET: SCGP) has announced the completion of a 100% stake acquisition in PT Prokemas Adhikari Kreasi (MYPAK), following the deal announcement made on October 28, 2025. The total transaction value was IDR 467 billion, or approximately THB 981 million.
The investment was made through two subsidiaries: TCG Solutions Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Thai Containers Group Co., Ltd., a joint venture between SCGP and Rengo Company Limited with a 70:30 shareholding, and Siam Kraft Industry Co., Ltd. The two subsidiaries will hold a 60:40 stake in MYPAK, respectively. SCGP will begin to consolidate MYPAK’s financial results from December 2025 onward.
MYPAK is one of the leading corrugated box manufacturers in Indonesia, with a total production capacity of 144,000 tons per year, located in Bekasi, West Java. Its main customers are multinational companies and top brands in the food, beverage, and consumer goods sectors. Additionally, the location offers potential for establishing an Inspired Solutions Studio and for expanding consumer packaging production in the future.
At the end of 2024, MYPAK recorded revenue of IDR 846 billion (approximately THB 1.78 billion) and total assets of IDR 1.27 billion (approximately THB 2.67 billion). This acquisition will add value and strengthen SCGP’s corrugated packaging business in Indonesia, also enhancing packaging services to support the long-term growth of its customer base.
SCGP plans to improve MYPAK’s operational efficiency by applying best practices, integrating supply chains, and creating synergies with other group businesses operating in Indonesia. The investment represents 0.55% of SCGP’s total consolidated assets as of September 30, 2025, and when combined with other asset acquisitions in the previous six months, the total is 3.39%. Therefore, it does not qualify as a transaction subject to the acquisition or disposition rules of the SET and is not considered a connected transaction.
