Money & Banking Magazine has named Mr. Payong Srivanich, CEO of Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited (SET: KTB), as the “Financier of the Year 2025.” The decision was unanimous among the judging panel, underscoring his outstanding leadership and fulfillment of all four key evaluation criteria.
The “Financier of the Year” award is a prestigious accolade that the journal has presented annually for more than 43 years since its inception in 1982. Mr. Payong was commended in 2025 for his concrete achievements, including a broad strategic vision, professionalism grounded in strong ethics, fostering sustainable growth for Krung Thai Bank, and his continued contributions to society.
Notably, Mr. Payong began his career at Krung Thai Bank as Senior Executive Vice President, overseeing the financial markets and capital markets division. He has served as President and CEO since November 8, 2016, embracing the belief that “Krung Thai Bank is a sleeping giant that needs to be awakened.”
