As of 11:22 A.M. (GMT+7), the share price of Thanasiri Group Public Company Limited (mai: THANA) was trading at THB 1.22 per share, up by THB 0.28 or 29.79%, with a trading value of THB 5.34 million, following news that the company’s board of directors approved a land sale transaction by Thanasiri Property Development Co., Ltd. (TPD).
The board also agreed to propose the matter to the company’s shareholders’ meeting for approval, allowing TPD—a subsidiary in which THANA holds 99.8% of registered capital—to proceed with the disposal of TPD’s assets.
This involves the sale of three vacant land plots, totaling approximately 42,276.9 square wah in Kamala Subdistrict, Kathu District, Phuket Province, to Rhom Bho Property Public Company Limited (mai: TITLE), noting that TITLE is not connected and has no relationships with THANA, its directors, executives, major shareholders, or controlling persons.
The value of the transaction totals approximately THB 898.38 million. This transaction qualifies as a disposal of assets under the Capital Market Supervisory Board Announcement concerning significant transactions classified as asset acquisitions or disposals. The maximum transaction size, calculated by the total value of consideration, accounts for 78.86% of the company’s total assets.
THANA has not disposed of any assets in the six months prior to the board’s approval to propose the transaction to the shareholders’ meeting. Therefore, the company intends to propose for shareholder approval the TPD transaction, which qualifies as an asset disposal. An Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders is scheduled for February 13, 2026, and the TPD land sale transaction is expected to be completed by November 24, 2027.
