Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited (SET: ITD) has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that with reference to the accident involving a construction crane and concrete segments falling on Rama II Road, resulting in fatalities and injuries as reported in the news.
The company wishes to express its deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and to those who sustained physical and mental injuries. The company accepts full responsibility for providing compensation and remedial measures for the losses incurred. ITD are currently in the process of assessing the damages in cooperation with all relevant parties and are committed to expediting the resolution of the situation to return it to normal as soon as possible.
Furthermore, the company will review and improve safety measures to be more thorough and stringent moving forward.
