H.E. Dr. Angela Macdonald, Australian Ambassador to Thailand, presided over the official opening of “Discover Australia: Six States of Excellence.” The event showcases over 1,400 premium products and ingredients sourced directly from six renowned states: Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, and Western Australia. The event offers Thai consumers a chance to savor authentic flavors delivered directly from Australia.
On this occasion, the Ambassador was accompanied by a distinguished delegation from the Australian Embassy, including Dr. Rob Atkinson (BVMS), Agriculture Counsellor for Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, and Myanmar, and Mr. Cameron Allan, Trade and Investment Commissioner. Welcoming the delegation were Prof. Emeritus Dr. Suthiphand Chirathivat, Chairman of Central Group; Mr. Thanawat Jirajariyavej, Managing Director of Central Food Retail under Central Retail; Mrs. Nongnuth Phetcharatana, Advisor to Central Group; Mrs. Sujita Phengoun, Chief Operating Officer of Central Food Retail under Central Retail; and Mr. Piriya Kamoldechdecha, Head of Fresh Food of Central Food Retail under Central Retail, alongside senior executives of Central Food Retail at TOPS FOOD HALL, Central Park.
