On Wednesday, TISCO Securities expects the Thai market to sharply surge after the U.S. President Donald Trump announced a 2-week ceasefire with Iran, while the latter agreed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. This caused the oil prices to plunge, which is a positive sentiment for risk assets.
The securities firms set a resistance level for the SET Index at 1,470 points, with a key level at 1,500 points. A support level is given at 1,450 points for today’s session.
Yesterday, Thailand’s SET Index closed at 1,464.43 points, increased 10.43 points or 0.72%, with a trading value of THB 45.08 billion.
