UOB Kay Hian Securities (Thailand) views that the Middle East conflict has begun to ease after the United States accepted a two-week ceasefire agreement before the deadline to attack Iran. The decline in oil prices is a positive factor for stocks related to tourism, airports, and airlines.

At the same time, the analyst house expected that more tourists may travel to Thailand, as the country is seen as a safe destination from war, presenting an opportunity to attract more visitors.

There are also high hopes for government measures to stimulate Thai tourism following the policy statement, which would further support stocks in the tourism sector, especially AOT, as this stock faces a lesser increase in costs compared to airline stocks. As a result, the brokerage firm considered this as a buying opportunity.
