Market Roundup 10 August 2026

Thailand’s SET Index closed at 1,624.36 points, increased 12.36 points or 0.77%, with a trading value of THB 61.74 billion. The analyst stated that the Thai stock market moved upward, in line with regional peers, led by significant buying of DELTA, following a positive sentiment in global tech stocks.

The rally offset selling pressures from the banking sector—which faced profit-taking activities—while the construction and industrial estate sectors also suffered from selloffs, as the Thai government signaled a slower momentum for data center investments.

For tomorrow, the analyst expects the Thai market to move sideways amid a lack of new catalysts.

Indonesian equities have officially entered bull-market territory, climbing more than 20% from the five-year low in early June, as attractive valuations, swift regulatory intervention, and a gradual return of foreign capital combine to lift sentiment toward Southeast Asia’s largest economy

The turning point came after S&P Global reaffirmed Indonesia’s BBB sovereign credit rating with a stable outlook a couple of weeks ago, a move that gave investors renewed confidence in the country’s fiscal footing.
