ATLAS Confident in Achieving 2026 Targets on Back of LPG Expansion and Diversified Revenue Streams

Mr. Suwatchai Pitakwongsaporn, Chief Executive Officer and President of Atlas Energy Public Company Limited (SET: ATLAS), stated that the company is preparing to pursue an aggressive business expansion strategy in the second half of 2026.

ATLAS aims to increase sales volume of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) across all business groups through the expansion of the service station network, the establishment of additional LPG retail outlets, and ongoing marketing activities. The company is maintaining a target for total sales growth this year at 12%, which is equivalent to an estimated LPG sales volume of approximately 450,000 tons.

Regarding the network expansion plan, ATLAS intends to gradually open an additional eight LPG service stations in Bangkok and surrounding areas, supplementing the three locations already in operation. The company also plans to increase the number of LPG retail outlets to 525, enhancing customer accessibility and supporting sales growth in the second half of the year.

At the same time, ATLAS will continue to organize marketing initiatives designed to expand its customer base and stimulate usage across all channels. The company is committed to advancing its business model under the ‘Energy Ecosystem’ concept to generate new revenue streams, diversify its income structure, and strengthen long-term growth potential.

For 2Q26, ATLAS reported total revenue of THB 3,137.3 million, representing an increase of 5.8% from the same period last year. Revenue from goods sold and services contributed THB 3,019.6 million, increasing by 6.4% year-on-year. The company recorded a net profit of THB 59.1 million with a gross profit margin of 14%. This performance was supported by a rise in LPG sales volume across all business segments.

In the first half of 2026, ATLAS generated total revenue of THB 6,051.9 million, an increase of THB 307.5 million or 5.4% compared to THB 5,744.4 million in the same period last year. The company achieved a net profit of THB 132.4 million and posted an improved gross profit margin of 14.6%, up from 14.4%. This positive trend resulted from the growth of the LPG business, efficient management of retail oil distribution, advertising media operations, and effective financial cost control.

The increased volume of LPG sales in all business groups can be attributed to the company’s broadened distribution channels, including expanded service stations and a greater number of retail stores, allowing greater market penetration and sustaining sales growth.

The automotive LPG segment remains a significant source of revenue, bolstered by an increasing number of vehicle owners opting to install LPG fuel systems due to their cost-effectiveness, which has contributed to the expansion of LPG usage in this sector.

Mr. Suwatchai expressed confidence that the company will achieve its 12% total sales growth target for 2026, strengthen market share, and maintain its position as the fourth-largest player in Thailand’s LPG sector. He also affirmed the company’s commitment to pursuing further growth opportunities from new businesses within the Energy Ecosystem in the future.
