Maysenee Ratnavijarn, Director of Investor Relations at CP Axtra Public Company Limited (SET: CPAXT), revealed that for the second half of the year, the company plans to open new stores and renovate rental areas. Regarding store expansion for the wholesale business, there are plans to launch three new stores—two in Thailand and one in the Philippines.
As for the retail business, CPAXT will open an additional twelve locations: nine in Thailand (comprising two hypermarkets, two supermarkets, and five Go Fresh outlets) and three in Malaysia. With regard to mall management, the second half of the year will focus on renovating and expanding rental spaces.
In Thailand, there will be twelve projects—three involving renovations of existing spaces and nine projects involving new construction or extensions. In Malaysia, two projects will involve new construction or extensions. The sales and rental areas expansion is expected to increase net sales area (NSA) by 3% and net leasable area (NLA) by 9% compared to last year.
For 2026, the company is targeting revenue growth in the low-to-mid single-digit range, with the aim of generating 25% of total sales through the omni-channel platform. Additionally, CPAXT expects to maintain gross margin at the previous year’s level and keep the net gearing ratio below 0.4 times.
To achieve its sales targets, CPAXT has established three core strategies:
1) Differentiation, emphasizing ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook food products, in collaboration with renowned chefs and brands, and by importing quality ingredients—such as direct imports of salmon from Norway—to reinforce its reputation for top-tier quality.
2) Value Leadership, by offering high-quality products through its private brands and partnerships with leading brands to deliver attractive value.
3) Omni-Channel Ecosystem, leveraging its nationwide branch network and robust logistics system to provide home delivery services within just 1-3 hours.
