Thai Wah has acquired Well-Grow Company Limited, a Thai manufacturer of sauces and seasonings. The acquisition strengthens the Group’s flavour and recipe development capability. It will drive a new ready-to-eat range for Thailand and for export.
Thai Wah Public Company Limited (SET: TWPC) today announced the acquisition of Well-Grow Company Limited (Well-Grow), a Thai manufacturer of sauces and seasonings for the food industry. Well-Grow is now part of Thai Wah Group.
Well-Grow has been a strategic manufacturing partner to Thai Wah. The acquisition brings that capability inside the Group, together with the proprietary sauce and seasoning formulations behind it.
Ready-to-eat is the growth engine of Thai Wah’s Food business. The acquisition extends the Company’s food portfolio from staples into prepared meals, sauces and seasonings.
“This investment moves Thai Wah further along our Farm to Shelf ambition. We have built strong positions in ingredients and in staples. What Well-Grow brings is flavour capability, the sauces and seasonings that sit closest to the consumer, and that is where the next stage of our growth will come from,” said Mr. Ho Ren Hua, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Wah Public Company Limited.
Flavour Opens the Next Category for Thai Wah
Food and specialty ingredients generated 72% of Thai Wah’s profit contribution in the first half of 2026, and the Group’s ambition is to sustain at over 80% by 2030. TW2030 is about rebalancing the portfolio towards food and specialty ingredients, built on the strength of the starch business. Well-Grow is the next stage of it.
Thai Wah acquired Well-Grow for an enterprise value of THB 190 million funded by the Group’s working capital.
From Thailand’s Shelves to Asia’s Tables
Sauces, condiments and seasonings were Thailand’s fourth-largest processed food export estimated at USD 28 billion. Ready-to-eat export is estimated at USD 900 million with growth outpacing domestic sales.
Thai Wah intends to expand its range of ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook products across its brand portfolio, including Double Dragon, and across the markets it serves. The Company sees particular opportunity beyond Thailand, where demand for authentic Asian flavours in ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook formats continues to grow. Thai Wah already operates across Asia Pacific and intends to bring the expanded range to global markets.
Thai Wah will continue to invest where it can add capability closer to the consumer.
“Our 2030 ambition remains clear. We will build Thai Wah into a leading high-value global food company. We have built our capacity over decades. Flavour is what we are adding to it, and that is what decides whether someone chooses the dish twice, and Well-Grow strengthens exactly that,” Mr. Ho Ren Hua added.
