KCE Electronics Public Company Limited (SET: KCE) has informed the Stock Exchange that, following certain media reports regarding a potential product transaction with a company in the United States, the company clarified that the matter is currently in progress; however, no conclusion has been reached at this time.
Nevertheless, KCE has urged that the public, investors, and all relevant parties rely on information from the company’s official channels and on verifiable sources, in order to prevent misunderstandings arising from incomplete or inaccurate information.
Previously, sources in digital businesses and manufacturing industries told “Kaohoon” that KCE is currently running pilot production to supply PCB components to global EV and AI giant Tesla for use in its humanoid robot development project, “Tesla Optimus.”
Considering KCE’s business structure, the company possesses high expertise in producing High Density Interconnection (HDI) PCBs and Automotive PCBs, which serve as the core heart of intelligent control systems.
A humanoid robot like Tesla Optimus contains complex computer brains, detection sensor systems, and joint motion controllers (actuators) that require highly stable, vibration-resistant, and ultra-compact PCBs to fit within a structure mimicking human movement. KCE’s automotive-grade manufacturing standards serve as a major strength, allowing it to seamlessly match the demands of next-generation intelligent robotics.
The Tesla Optimus project, also known as the Tesla Bot, represents one of Elon Musk’s key long-term strategic goals. It is designed as a multi-purpose robot powered by AI systems sharing the same software foundation as Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) feature in its electric vehicles.
Recently, Tesla has continuously accelerated development—improving robot balance control, increasing hand dexterity to near-human degrees of freedom, and preparing for commercial manufacturing to deploy robots within Tesla factories and enter the mass market in the future. Engaging electronic component suppliers during the pilot phase marks a crucial step in readying its supply chain.
Investors and industry watchers are closely monitoring whether this pilot production transitions into actual commercial orders. If achieved, it would mark a major turning point, propelling KCE’s revenue base beyond traditional automotive industries into the global robotics technology supply chain.
