Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, the grand dame of luxury Thai hospitality marked its reopening with the theme of “Rebirth of an Icon,” an unforgettable celebration bringing together Bangkok’s most celebrated names in entertainment, fashion and Thailand’s social scene.
Hosted by William E. Heinecke, Founder and Chairman of Minor International (SET: MINT), the evening marked the completion of the hotel’s USD 50 million transformation, ushering in a new era for one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
Guests explored the hotel’s newly transformed spaces, including the first inner city pool villas, a Jim Thompson Explorer Suite and a lavish Presidential Suite that has seen royalty, politicians and major international celebrities stay throughout the years. Guests also sampled the hotel’s celebrated collection of culinary favorites including the Spice Market and Aqua Bar which was recently named one of Asia’s 50 Best Bars.
Celebrities spotted throughout the evening included Taew Natapohn Phornprapha, JJ Krissanapoom Pibulsonggram, Suquan Bulakul, Yoghurt Nattasha Bunprachom, Tata Young, Cindy and Byron Bishop, Noi Pru-Krissada Sukosol, alongside Kat Sonya Singha, Maynie Wasana Intasang, Yumi Kiangsiri and Pimdao Panichsamai. The evening also brought together distinguished figures from government and business. The diverse gathering reflected the hotel’s unique place at the heart of Bangkok’s social, cultural and business landscape.
