Market Roundup 11 September 2026

Thailand’s SET Index closed at 1,604.52 points, decreasing by 10.55 points or 0.65%, with a trading value of THB 71.21 billion. The analyst stated that the Thai stock market declined, tracking international markets. This came after investors reduced their risk appetite, as prolonged tension and uncertainty in the Middle East raised both crude prices and U.S. bond yields, which were the main downward pressures for global equities.

Additionally, the analyst estimated that investors may also trim their position ahead of the U.S. CPI report tonight.

For next week, the analyst recommends investors closely monitor the Federal Reserve policy meeting, as well as the U.S. market.

The new tax framework ties market access directly to value creation.

The discussion comes amid mounting economic costs for both sides. This week, Brent, the global crude benchmark, exceeded $100 a barrel, while diesel prices reached an unprecedented high.
