The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on September 24, 2026, in New York, with Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul attending as a witness. Under the agreement, the two exchanges will establish a framework for cooperation on dual listings, as well as the joint development of financial products and indices.
Asadej Kongsiri, President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, said the MoU covers five key areas of cooperation: 1) dual listing of securities on both exchanges; 2) the development and cross-listing of exchange-traded funds (ETFs); 3) market data and index products; 4) the development of ESG-related products and services; and 5) the exchange of information and knowledge between the two exchanges.
“This cooperation will help strengthen connections between businesses and investors in Thailand and the United States, while providing Thai listed companies with additional fundraising options. It will create opportunities for them to access institutional investors and sources of capital in one of the world’s leading financial markets, while enabling global investors to gain greater access to investment opportunities in Thailand.”
“It will also provide foreign companies investing in Thailand with additional fundraising channels through the Thai capital market, in line with the BOI to IPO initiative. This cooperation reflects the SET’s commitment to strengthening the competitiveness of the Thai capital market and connecting it with new opportunities, in line with our vision of being ‘The Trusted Gateway to Inclusive Opportunities,’” Asadej said.

Will Goodwin, Head of Strategic Operations and Corporate Affairs at the New York Stock Exchange, said, “NYSE highly values its long-standing relationship with the Stock Exchange of Thailand, and this MoU marks another important step in deepening cooperation between our two exchanges while creating new opportunities for issuers and investors.
“We look forward to working closely with the Stock Exchange of Thailand to support the long-term growth of the Thai capital market,” Goodwin said.
The SET and NYSE have maintained a partnership since 1992, beginning with cooperation in market regulation. Over more than three decades, the relationship has continued to expand, eventually broadening into multiple areas of collaboration and culminating in the MoU signed today.
