The latest cancellations come as THAI continues to deal with significant operational disruption at its Bangkok hub, following days of flight delays, baggage backlogs and previous flight cancellations.

THAI has recently accelerated efforts to clear delayed baggage at Suvarnabhumi Airport, deploying additional personnel and resources to sort and deliver passengers’ luggage. The airline previously said baggage from 52 flights operated on September 26–27 was being processed for delivery, while 34 flights experienced delays on September 28.

THAI Cargo has also temporarily suspended the acceptance of inbound and outbound cargo at its cargo warehouse from September 30 to October 6, citing the impact of flooding on staff availability and warehouse operations.

In its latest announcement, THAI said it was closely monitoring and urgently addressing the situation until operations return to normal.

The airline apologized to passengers for the inconvenience and advised affected travelers to contact the THAI Contact Center at +66 2 356 1111, overseas THAI Contact Centers in countries where the airline operates, or [email protected] for further information. The contact center is available 24 hours a day.
