Mr. Suchet Suktae, Deputy Managing Director, Media Marketing Department of ASL Securities, stated during the “Kaohoon” program on October 27, 2026, that the Thai stock market is expected to move sideways-up today, tracking positive investment sentiment in overseas markets, particularly the Japanese stock market, which moved higher.
Meanwhile, global crude oil prices have begun to soften, which could impact movements in specific stock sectors. The analyst set a support level for the SET Index at 1,570 points, and a resistance level at 1,590 points.
For investment strategy, Mr. Suchet recommended focusing on stocks with specific catalysts, particularly tourism, hospitals and energy, alongside shares displaying improving technical signals. His five selections were MINT, IRPC, TU, PR9 and EGCO.
Starting with MINT, the tourism and hotel stock has shown early recovery signs, rising from around THB 20 to approximately THB 20.80 as buying interest returns. Short-term resistance stands at THB 21, with a breakout potentially opening the way toward THB 22. Support is THB 20 – 20.50. Suchet recommended gradual accumulation to capture potential upside as the SET trends toward 1,650 points by year-end.
Turning to IRPC, the share price remains sensitive to volatile crude prices, particularly weakening Brent crude, which could keep energy and petrochemical shares range-bound. ASL placed support at THB 2.80 and resistance at THB 2.90 – 3.00, recommending speculative trading within that range.
Regarding TU, technical signals have improved as the share price moved to around THB 13. Sustained momentum could support an advance toward THB 14, with key support at THB 12.50. The recommended approach is speculative trading based on technical signals.
For PR9, gains in BH and BDMS could support investor interest across hospital-sector peers. Short-term resistance is THB 19.50 – 20, while ASL’s morning research report identified potential upside to THB 22. With support at THB 18.50, the recommendation is to buy and hold.
Meanwhile, EGCO has shown recovery signals toward THB 133.50. Resistance is THB 137, while support at THB 130 warrants close monitoring. A break below support could expose the stock to further weakness toward THB 120. Suchet recommended short-term trading within the indicated range.
In addition, Mr. Suchet maintained a positive view on tourism stocks, expecting the sector to play a larger role in supporting the Thai market over the remainder of the year.
He highlighted AOT with targets of THB 65 – 70 and CENTEL with a target of THB 50. Investors should also monitor CPN, which has displayed notable share-price trends.
For DELTA, Mr. Suchet cited medium-term upside potential supported by earnings expectations and investor valuation assumptions. Estimated earnings per share of THB 2.40 and a price-to-earnings ratio of 100 – 110 times imply a target of approximately THB 240 – 264.
Separately, he saw longer-term potential above THB 280. In the short term, investors should watch whether DELTA can overcome selling pressure at that level. A breakout followed by consolidation above THB 280 would signal positive momentum.
The recovery offers portfolio management opportunities for investors with costs around THB 230 – 240. Those holding at around THB 380 should monitor upcoming quarterly earnings to assess recovery prospects.
DELTA’s gains could also benefit HANA and KCE. However, Mr. Suchet noted valuation constraints for KCE, while HANA offers a lower P/E ratio.
