Thai Stock Market Outlook on 28 October 2026

Brokers project neutral-to-negative outlooks for the Thai stock market on Wednesday, pressured by potential selling in DELTA after its earnings came in below expectations. Nevertheless, positive global sentiment and sector rotation may help cushion the broader index.

Kasikorn Securities expects the Thai benchmark to edge lower amid downside pressure from DELTA, as the firm’s 3Q26 earnings result came around 10% lower than estimated.

However, the analyst said rotation into banks, retail, ICT and power plant stocks may help limit the decline.

The securities firm set a support level for the SET Index at 1,570 points, and a resistance level at 1,585 points.

Daol Securities anticipates the Thai bourse to trade sideways. The brokerage noted that global technology shares remain supported, while Japanese and South Korean markets opened higher, which could draw interest into Thai electronics stocks. Still, DELTA’s weaker-than-expected results may leave the stock vulnerable to selling pressure.

Daol added that investors are also watching the Monetary Policy Committee meeting, where the policy rate is expected to be left unchanged.

Yesterday, Thailand’s SET Index closed at 1,575.02 points, decreasing by 4.01 points or 0.25%, with a trading value of THB 67.04 billion.
