Russia Suspends Options for Foreign Investors to Pull Assets

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on Tuesday stated that Russia has temporarily suspended options for foreign investors to pull from Russian assets, according to the report by Reuters.

The move was to ensure foreign investors have taken a considered decision not one driven by political pressure, said Mishustin.

Meanwhile, the Russian central bank closed the stock exchange for a second day on Tuesday in an attempt to limit the impact in financial markets following tough Western sanctions.
