Japan Greenlights First Batch of CP Foods’ Frozen Pasteurized Liquid Egg from Thailand

Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CP Foods) has achieved a significant milestone in Thailand’s livestock products by becoming the first Thai company to export frozen pasteurized liquid whole egg to Japan. The company held a launching ceremony for the first shipment of frozen liquid pasteurized liquid whole egg from CP Foods’ Ban Na egg processing plant in Nakhon Nayok Province to Japan.

This achievement demonstrates CP Foods’ commitment to innovation and product quality, which has earned the trust of Thai and Japanese consumers, as a results of its innovations, application of advanced technology, and compliance to the international standards.

Mrs.Wanthanee Chamnarnshettakarn, Head of Egg Processing Bread and Ready to Eat Paet Rew Business at CP Foods, said that the company’s dedication to product quality and sustainability has earned the trust of Thai and Japanese consumers. The pasteurized liquid whole egg is made from high-quality eggs sourced from hens raised with animal welfare and biosecurity standards. The liquid eggs are pasteurized and packed in a temperature-controlled and hygienic facility to maintain their nutritional status and extend their shelf life beyond that of fresh eggs.

The egg processing plant at Ban Na processing plant adheres to CPF Quality Policy, which ensure that all CP Foods products are of the highest quality and safety standards worldwide. In addition, the plant is certified to international standards including GHPs, BRC, HACCP, and ISO9001:2015, assuring the highest levels of hygiene and food safety.

“The first shipment was approved due to CP Foods’ high-tech production that complies with the international standards. We are committed to bringing Thai livestock production up to international standards and promoting sustainable consumption among Thai and consumers worldwide,” said Wanthanee.

She added that this achievement marks the significant milestone for Thai livestock industry, as CP Foods’ liquid pasteurized egg has now been recognized by Japan, one of the world’s most discerning markets. The success of this shipment will pave the way for Thai agriculture products to be known by consumers worldwide, and CP Foods is committed to maintaining its dedication to innovation and quality to achieve this goal.

 

CP Foods’ Ban Na egg processing plant produces liquid eggs and boiled eggs with a production capacity of 2 million eggs per day, which are delivered to food processing factories in the CP Foods for the production of ready-to-eat meals under the CP brand.
