SCB X Public Company Limited (SCB) opened its headquarters, SCBX Townhall, on the 9th floor of SCB Park Plaza, Ratchayothin, to welcome students and professors from the “WorldNexGen 2026” program.
The visit offered participants an opportunity to learn closely about Thailand’s business landscape and future financial trends, with a warm welcome by Mr. Sutirapan Sakkawatra, Chief Customer Officer of SCB.
The session began with a special presentation titled “Digital Economy Opportunities & Challenges” by Miss Nuntana Taveeratanasilp, Head of Investor Relations and Capital Market, who shared insights into SCBX’s strategies and the significance of the company’s collaboration with KaKao Bank—the largest digital bank (Virtual Bank) in South Korea.
This was followed by a session on “SCBX: The AI Moat — Architecting the Future of Banking” by Tutanon Sinthuprasith, Ph.D., Head of Research & Development, who highlighted the crucial role of artificial intelligence (AI) in advancing the future of banking.
The visit concluded with a tour of key locations at this center for management and financial innovation. The activities reinforced SCBX’s mission to nurture the younger generation’s understanding of financial technologies and innovations, enabling them to keep pace with sustainable changes in the financial industry.
WorldNexGen 2026 is an international academic collaboration between Thammasat University, Seoul National University, and KH Academy. Its objective is to nurture new-generation leaders through in-depth learning of economic and financial policies, which are key drivers for national advancement. The project is supported by top private sector partners, including Hoban Group, B.Grimm Power PCL, Nakwol Blueheart, Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel, and Kaohoon Turakij.
