KH Academy continues its mission to enhance legal knowledge within society by hosting an educational seminar under the ‘KH Legal Aid’ program. The event, held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at KH Academy’s Ratchathewi Campus, was themed “Understanding the Law, Grasping the Capital Market, and Anticipating Risks in the Investment World.”
The objective was to boost participants’ understanding of securities and exchange laws, which are crucial for establishing transparency, setting industry standards, and managing risk in the investment world. The event drew a large audience, including university students, investors, and interested members of the general public.

The session featured expert public prosecutor Mr. Wuttichai Phumsanguan, who delivered an in-depth presentation on the Securities and Exchange Act. He explored key topics investors should be aware of, such as the proper use of insider information, understanding corporate disclosures and listed company information, drawing the line between personal gain and professional conduct, and examining real-life legal cases in the capital market.
Mr. Wuttichai emphasized the vital importance of securities regulations for investors, noting that the stock market extends beyond simple returns: both investors and securities companies must fully understand the relevant legal framework, including public sector regulations, information disclosure practices, and the oversight roles of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).
“The disclosure or release of information that could impact stock prices is a highly sensitive matter. A lack of proper understanding about data usage or compliance with rules can accidentally result in criminal offenses. Therefore, staying updated on regulations and being aware of associated risks are essential shields for every investor,” Mr. Wuttichai stated.
The KH Legal Aid project is a social initiative by KH Academy that aligns with the core mission of Kaohoon Turakij—spreading essential knowledge to the general public and promoting the advancement of Thai society. The program aims to improve public understanding of laws, rights, and duties, and to reduce the risk of unintentional legal violations. The seminar is held monthly and is free of charge. Those interested can follow updates and details on upcoming activities across all KH Academy platforms.
