CLICX, Thailand’s first branchless commercial bank, established through the strategic collaboration of three leading Thai organizations – KTB, AIS and OR – is moving forward with its new-era financial strategy under the vision of “Bank in One CLICX.” The bank aims to elevate Thailand’s FinTech ecosystem through a digital financial platform designed around the lifestyles and real financial needs of Thai people, making financial services more accessible, secure and inclusive. CLICX is also set to introduce a new milestone for Thailand’s banking industry with the country’s first feature that enables customers to choose their own bank account number, ahead of its official service launch by June 2026.

Today, Thailand still has significant room to expand financial services, so they can reach more people and better reflect the realities of everyday life, particularly for those with irregular income such as freelancers, self-employed professionals and small business owners. Many of them earn income, demonstrate financial discipline and maintain responsible spending behavior, yet may still face barriers to accessing financial products or suitable credit due to not meeting conventional requirements for income documentation or credit history.

According to the Bank of Thailand, more than 63% of Thais remain underserved in terms of access to financial services, while over 80% have emergency savings sufficient to cover living expenses for no more than six months in the event of unexpected circumstances or a sudden income disruption. These figures highlight that many Thai people still lack access to financial services that are appropriate, flexible and aligned with today’s real life financial realities.

This represents a meaningful opportunity to create a new model of financial services, one that understands the real lives of Thai people more deeply. It is also the foundation of CLICX, a branchless commercial bank born from the combined strengths of three Thai partners: KTB, with its deep financial expertise; AIS, with its digital and technological capabilities; and OR, with its strong understanding of everyday consumer lifestyles. As a major first for Thailand’s banking industry, on 2 June, CLICX is preparing to introduce “Customizable Account Number,” a new feature that allows customers to select or personalize their own bank account number, a first among Thai banks.

Customers will be able to choose numbers based on personal beliefs, preferences and lifestyles, whether auspicious numbers, numbers believed to support wealth, career or love, dragon numbers, repeated numbers, premium numbers, or account numbers that match the last seven or last four digits of their mobile phone number. This feature is designed to deliver a more personal financial experience, one that customers can define for themselves in just one CLICX.
