FWD Life Insurance Public Company Limited (FWD Insurance or FWD) follows its customer-led and tech-enabled approach, is committed to creating a better experience for its customers.
The company is now offering a new option in its FWD Telemedicine service through the MorDee app — an online doctor consultation platform built around the concept “Care for You Every Day, Anytime, anywhere.”
With this service, customers can consult doctors from the comfort of their own home, without having to travel or wait in long queues. Consultations are cashless, and prescriptions can even be delivered directly to their door. The goal is to make healthcare simple, convenient, and time-saving.
Mr. David Korunić, Chief Executive Officer for Thailand & Cambodia at FWD Insurance, said: “We believe that accessing healthcare should be simple and convenient. According to the Division of Nursing, Ministry of Public Health, the average outpatient service time should not exceed 90 minutes . But as patient numbers grow, waiting times often get longer. Today’s customers want to manage their time efficiently. That is why FWD Insurance has partnered with the MorDee app, a telemedicine platform by True Digital Group, to give customers a fast and easy way to consult specialists anytime, anywhere. This helps them take care of their health continuously, efficiently, and conveniently.”
FWD Telemedicine offers several key benefits:
- Real-time doctor consultations via MorDee: Customers can consult over 500 specialist doctors across more than 20 areas of medicine, including both general and chronic conditions.
- Use your insurance benefits instantly: Available for both individual and group health plans, allowing outpatient (OPD) coverage to be used without upfront payments.
- Home delivery of medications at no extra cost: Ensuring customers receive their prescriptions anywhere in the country.
- Track your treatment history in the app: So, customers can manage their health continuously and effectively.
FWD Telemedicine was developed from a deep understanding of changing consumer behavior after the COVID-19 situation. It reflects the growing demand for healthcare services that are simple, convenient, fast, and flexible, helping reduce time and location constraints so customers can access medical consultations comfortably from anywhere.
The addition of the MorDee app provides FWD customers with another easy way to consult doctors online from any location. The entire process, from registration to consultation, takes no more than 30 minutes (excluding medication delivery time).
