GULF Commences Operation of 50MW Solar Farm in Buriram

Gulf Development Public Company Limited (SET: GULF) has disclosed to the Stock Exchange of Thailand that Isaan Clean Tech Company Limited (ICT), a subsidiary in which the Company indirectly holds 100% of the equity through Gulf Renewable Energy Company Limited (GRE), has successfully commenced commercial operation of its solar farm project in Prakhon Chai District, Buriram Province. The project, with a contracted capacity of 37.8 megawatts and an installed capacity of 49.8 megawatts, began selling electricity to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) on November 1, 2025, as scheduled.

The project is part of GRE’s renewable energy portfolio under the Energy Regulatory Commission’s regulations for electricity procurement from renewable energy sources under the Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) Scheme (2022–2030) for power plants with no fuel costs. These projects are expected to commence commercial operations between 2024 and 2030.

In 2024, five solar projects with a total contracted capacity of 295.0 megawatts (installed capacity of 531.8 megawatts) successfully achieved commercial operation. For 2025, an additional seven solar projects with a total contracted capacity of 354.3 megawatts (installed capacity of 596.8 megawatts) are scheduled to gradually come online, with the remaining six projects expected to reach commercial operation by December 2025.
