Dr. Sunhavut Thamchuanviriya, Group Chief Executive Officer of Millennium Group Corporation (Asia) Public Company Limited (SET: MGC), stated that the fourth quarter will see the highest sales volume of the year, as it is the period when customers are considering replacing their vehicles and are driven by end-of-year sales boosts from the 42nd Thailand International Motor Expo 2025.
MGC is presenting both in-house and partner brands at the event, such as XPENG, which showcases intelligent electric vehicles (EVs) powered by AI like the newly launched The New G6 Standard Range and the X9, an intelligent electric Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) that holds the number one sales position.
Partner brands such as JEEP and PEUGEOT are also joining the event with special promotions exclusively for attendees, which are anticipated to draw strong interest and lead to substantial pre-order volumes. Other partners include Millennium Auto Group, ZEEKR, SUMMIT HONDA AUTOMOBILE, and Harley-Davidson.
Sixt Rent a Car Thailand, a leading short-term car rental service provider, is also preparing its fleet and services for the high traveling season, meeting the growing car rental demand with a diverse and modern selection. This includes standard vehicles, premium vehicles, and electric vehicles such as the XPENG G6 and X9, as well as the Peugeot 2008, 3008, and 5008, among many others, to suit various travel needs.
Ms. Apiwan Singthaweesak, CEO of XPENG Thailand under MGC, informed “Kaohoon” that since XPENG entered the Thai market, it has achieved cumulative sales across all models, and deliveries of electric MPVs have ranked number one in the market.
On November 28, 2025, XPENG delivered its 4,000th electric vehicle, surpassing its original target of 3,500 units, and will commence pre-orders for the 4,001st unit at the Motor Expo 2025. The event is expected to generate sales of over 1,000 vehicles.
Mr. Kwanchai Paphatphong, Chairman of the 42nd Thailand International Motor Expo 2025, stated that as the organizer, they expect the show stands out in five key aspects:
1) The expo has been organized for four decades, continuously improving the standard of exhibitions and receiving accreditation from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).
2) It utilizes more than 100,000 square meters of space, hosting the largest number of automotive and motorcycle brands and accessory dealers in ASEAN.
3) It is an event with involvement from various organizations and genuine public participation.
4) The event generates tens of thousands of pre-orders for vehicles and motorcycles annually, stimulating the Thai automotive industry and injecting substantial capital into the economy.
5) It attracts over 1.5 million visitors each year.
“We are determined to make the 42nd Motor Expo more spectacular than ever in every aspect. Therefore, we have set the theme for this event to reinforce our goals and announce its grandeur: ‘The Magnificent Motor Expo,” Mr. Kwanchai stated.
