Nopadej Karnasuta, President of Thailand, Malaysia and Energy & Industrial Solutions Business at B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (SET: BGRIM), revealed that B.Grimm LNG Company Limited, a 100%-owned subsidiary of B.Grimm Power, has established a new subsidiary in Malaysia under the name B.Grimm LNG Sdn. Bhd.
The company has a registered and paid-up capital of 1 Malaysian Ringgit, divided into 1 share with a par value of 1 Malaysian Ringgit. B.Grimm LNG Company Limited holds 100% of the issued shares, utilizing the working capital of B.Grimm LNG Company Limited.
The purpose of establishing this subsidiary is to procure and wholesale liquefied natural gas (LNG) and/or natural gas for power plants and industrial operators in Malaysia. This aligns with B.Grimm Power’s GreenLeap strategy, which aims to supply clean, sustainable, highly stable, and affordable energy to customers while minimizing environmental impact, such as sourcing alternative energy for future power generation (Sustainable Fuels).
The company will leverage B.Grimm Power’s expertise in natural gas procurement and its robust, long-standing partnerships with technology suppliers and equipment manufacturers. This supports B.Grimm Power’s long-term plan to become a leader in renewable energy and one of the world’s top energy producers, toward achieving the corporate Net-Zero Carbon Emissions target by 2050, as well as a production capacity goal of 10,000 megawatts by 2030.
