Thailand’s Jasmine International Inks $70 Million Deal with FIFA for 2026 and 2030 World Cup Broadcasting Rights

Soraj Asavaprapha, Chief Executive Officer of Jasmine International Public Company Limited (SET: JAS), revealed that the company has acquired the broadcasting rights for the FIFA World Cup for 2026 and 2030, as well as the rights to broadcast other sports events under the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), with a total value of $70 million.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be hosted jointly by three countries: the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Meanwhile, the 2030 World Cup is a special tournament marking the 100th anniversary of the competition, to be held across six countries spanning three continents: Spain, Portugal, and Morocco serve as the main hosts, joined by Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay, where certain matches will be held to celebrate this significant milestone.

In addition, these rights cover a variety of FIFA-approved sports, including Football and Association Football, which encompasses youth football, women’s football, and Olympic football; the FIFA World Cup; Futsal; Beach Soccer; the FIFA Club World Cup; and also FIFA eSports or EA Sports FC competitions that are officially overseen by FIFA.

JAS’ subsidiary, Mono Next Public Company Limited (SET: MONO), will be the broadcaster for both 2026 and 2030 World Cup, as well as other FIFA-affiliated events, integrating with the company’s existed sports content ecosystems. MONO is the operators of both traditional TV and online streaming platforms such as MONO29 Channel and Monomax.
