Mr. Chuwit Jungtanasomboon, Chief Executive Officer of North East Rubber Public Company Limited (SET: NER), revealed that the company’s overall performance in Q2/2026 (ending 30 June 2026) showed total sales revenue of 7,143.58 million baht from a total sales volume of 108,909 tons. Domestic sales revenue amounted to 5,612.53 million baht, representing 78.57% of total sales, while export sales reached 1,531.06 million baht, accounting for 21.43%.
As a Thai company, North East Rubber is known as a leading producer and distributor of ribbed smoked sheet rubber, block rubber, compound rubber, and high-quality downstream rubber flooring products for manufacturers in the automotive industry and both domestic and international intermediaries.
In Q2/2026, the company recorded a net profit of 436.36 million baht, continuing its growth from Q1/2026’s net profit of 254 million baht. The gross profit margin in Q2/2026 was 10.24%, and the net profit margin stood at 6.11%, compared to 8.26% and 3.51% in Q1/2026, respectively.
“The significant improvements in gross and net profit margins in Q2/2026 from Q1/2026 reflect the company’s efficient business management, with a focus on cost control, raw material sourcing, and price risk management—even as market conditions remain volatile due to global economic factors and climate variability,” said Mr. Chuwit.
In addition, the Board of Directors’ meeting on 5 August 2026 resolved to pay an interim dividend for the first half of 2026 at a rate of 0.05 baht per share, with XD (ex-dividend) date on 20 August 2026 and dividend payment scheduled for 4 September 2026.
As for the outlook for the natural rubber industry in the second half of the year, Mr. Chuwit expects continued support from the tight global supply structure, as output in many major producing countries remains affected by unpredictable weather. Natural rubber prices continue to be favorable for operators who can efficiently manage costs and risks.
“We expect revenue to keep growing in the second half, supported by sustained demand from the tire and manufacturing industries. NER will continue to enhance its business capabilities under the ‘NER Creating Value Beyond Rubber’ concept to ensure stable and sustainable growth,” Chuwit said.
