Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group) has officially opened its flagship CP Innovation Exposition 2026 at True Digital Park, convening corporate leaders, global technology giants, and thousands of internal innovators under the banner “RISE TOGETHER INNOVATE BEYOND”. Running from October 20 to 22, the exposition showcases over 90 practical technological solutions spanning artificial intelligence, biotechnology, retail, and logistics from across more than ten countries.
Keynote addresses delivered by the conglomerate’s top executive—Mr. Sigve Brekke, Dr. Ajva Taulananda, and Mr. Suphachai Chearavanont—framed the event not merely as an internal competition, but as an operational blueprint for driving corporate resilience and national competitiveness across CP Group’s global footprint.

Opening the exposition’s sessions, Mr. Sigve Brekke, Executive Chair of the Telecommunications and Digital Business Group, set the stage by emphasizing the critical intersection between digital transformation and everyday commercial application. In his introductory remarks, Mr. Sigve highlighted CP Group’s historical commitment to customer-centric problem solving, pointing directly to early corporate milestones where simple, transparent innovations fundamentally altered consumer trust. By framing technology as an accessible tool rather than an abstract laboratory exercise, his opening remarks established the tone for an exposition designed to bridge emerging digital tools with practical, real-world utility across agribusiness, retail, and telecommunications.

Dr. Ajva Taulananda, Senior Vice Chairman of CP Group, contextualized the exposition within the conglomerate’s 105-year evolutionary trajectory. Dr. Ajva noted that business innovation has served as the core engine powering CP’s growth from a modest seed distributor into a global industrial powerhouse. He recounted the group’s earliest recorded innovation—stamping expiration dates on vegetable seed packets—pioneered by the founder out of a moral obligation to protect impoverished farmers from crop failure.
Dr. Ajva detailed how this problem-solving ethos systematically transformed Thai agriculture. Decades ago, when smallholder farmers managed small flocks under severe operational risks, CP Group introduced contract poultry farming modeled after advanced U.S. practices. Dr. Ajva highlighted that CP Group has conducted company-wide innovation competitions for 17 years. He stressed that adhering to CP’s Six Core Values—particularly accepting change, simplifying complex challenges, and maintaining speed with integrity—guarantees that employee-driven solutions uphold the foundational Three-Benefit Principle: creating value for the nation first, the public second, and the enterprise third.

In an expansive and impassioned address to partners, Mr. Suphachai Chearavanont, Senior Vice Chairman of CP Group, delivered a strategic roadmap for navigating an increasingly volatile global landscape. Mr. Suphachai placed immense emphasis on the role of external collaboration, extending explicit gratitude to representatives from global technology partner organizations. Identifying these tech leaders as indispensable co-architects of CP Group’s digital ecosystem, he noted that enterprise transformation cannot occur in isolation, but requires deep, integrated partnerships across industries.
Celebrating the thousands of internal employee innovators submitting projects across the conglomerate, Mr. Suphachai characterized these workers and innovators as the true “heroes” of the organization. He shared a foundational lesson imparted by Senior Chairman Dhanin Chearavanont to emphasize the early investment for greater returns in the future. Grounding this philosophy in practical terms, Mr. Supachai defined true innovation as usable ideas that deliver tangible value across all three tiers—customers, society, and the global community.

Mr. Suphachai underscored that continuous adaptation across products, business processes, and business models has become an absolute necessity for survival. He warned that the world faces unprecedented convergence of risks, including geopolitical friction, extreme climate volatility, macroeconomic instability, and rapid artificial intelligence disruption.
Mr. Supachai highlighted the role of the CP Innovation and The Center of Excellence as a dedicated “sandbox” laboratory. This facility, he explained, allows teams and partners to experiment freely, fail small, and iterate rapidly inside a controlled environment to produce world-changing breakthroughs that elevate society.
