European Markets Expected to Open Flat as U.S. Employment Data in Focus

European markets are expected to open unchanged on Friday according to Reuters report. Traders are eyeing U.S. key employment data which would shape FED’s action on the timeline of interest rate hike.

DAX futures inched down by 0.07% while FTSE 100 futures rose by 0.14%.

Focus of the market is now on U.S. nonfarm payrolls data which is due later Friday.

The payrolls are expected to have risen by 400,000 in December, almost doubling November’s disappointing 210,000 rise, with the unemployment rate seen falling to 4.1% from 4.2%.
