SAWAD Shows a 5% Gain in Net Income in 2021, Offering a Dividend of THB1.80

Srisawad Corporation Public Company Limited (SET: SAWAD) announced its 2021 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

SAWAD reported a net profit of THB4,722 million in 2021, an increase of 4.74 percent from a net profit of THB4,508 million in 2020. 

As at 31 March2021, SAWAD has reclassified the investment in subsidiary (Fast Money Co., Ltd.) to the investment in associate. This represents a decrease in loan to customers from THB42,266 million to THB34,755 million because the consolidated financial statement excluded the loan to customers from the associate company.

For the year ended 31 December 2021, interest income totaling THB6,855.33 million, compared to the interest income from the prior year which totaled THB8,166.09 million. This  represents a decrease of THB1,310.76 million, or 16.05 percent due to the exclusion of interest income of the subsidiary that has reclassified the type of investment to an associate.

Meanwhile, other income totaling THB3,375.51 million increased by THB548.57 million or 19.41 percent from the prior year, totaling THB2,826.94 million which was mainly due to an increase of brokerage income from life insurance and non-life insurance companies.

 

In addition, the Board of Directors approved a dividend payment from the fiscal year 2021 at the rate of THB1.80 per share. The Ex-dividend date (XD) is set for 3 May 2022. The payment of the interim dividend will be made on 20 May 2022.
