Hershey Injects $90 Million to Expand Production Line in Mexico

The world-renowned candy marker Hershey Company announced that it will invest $90 million to open two new production lines in a Mexican plant located in the northern border state of Nuevo Leon, according to the company’s representative.

According to a release from the event, this expansion of the Mexican plant will increase Hershey’s output by 25% in which 300 new jobs will be added to the market from the current level of 2,500 employed by the company that makes hundreds of products.

The investment will likely enlarge Hershey’s Mexican plant to go from fourth to third largest.
