Advanced Info Service Plc. (SET: ADVANC) announced an update on the legal dispute between the company and the National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT) regarding revenue share on transmission. NT submitted a dispute on January 12, 2018 to the Arbitration Institute to claim additional revenue sharing from the rental charge of transmission service from October 2012 – September 2015 in a total amount of THB 1,121.91 million plus an interest rate. NT views that the company shall collect the rental charge according to the rate specified by NT which was higher than the rate the Company charged tenants.
On December 19, 2022, the Arbitration Committee ruled in favor of the Company as it cannot be concluded that the company violated the agreement as claimed by the NT. However, NT has the right to submit a legal claim to the Central Administrative Court within 90 days, hence the dispute is not concluded. If there is any significant update, the Company shall inform accordingly.
