DITTO Signs THB143 Million Contract to Develop Digital Projects for Industrial Estates

Mr.Thakorn Rattanagamolbhorn, Ditto (Thailand) PLC (SET: DITTO)’s CEO revealed that the company has successfully dealt a 143 million baht contract with the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) to develop a phase 2 of Digital Twin project under the Smart Industrial Estates programme that runs 13 industrial estates.

DITTO will continue the development of the Digital Twin from IEAT’s prototype at Samutsakorn, and will install cloud data service as DITTO’s Thailand base is capable of allocating IT infrastructure for the development.

Furthermore, DITTO will develop Building Information Modeling (BIM) for at least 10 estates involved in the programme. BIM will handle factories’ assets and utilities data in a 3 dimensional physical structure model, which would complement Digital Twin as well.

The CEO said the Digital Twin would put a large building’s blueprints into the real-time digital platform, which could support a decision making as the supplied data is easily monitored and troubleshoot whether it’ll be an operation or involved utility from anywhere.

DITTO combines its software with engineering expertise from Consulting Engineering and Management PCL (TEAMG). Both aim for the development of the intelligence industrial estate business, which would attract more foreign investors.
