Major Cineplex Group Public Company Limited (SET: MAJOR) has announced its 2023 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

MAJOR reported a net profit of 1,042 million baht, an increase of 790 million baht or 313%, compared to the same period of the previous year of THB 252 million baht.
The company had total revenues from sales and services for year 2023 of 8,551 million baht, increased 2,163 million baht or 34%, compared to the same period of the previous year of 6,388 million baht, mainly from the increasing popularity trend of Thai movies which, the highest grossing film revenue in year 2023 are “Sup-Pa-Rer”, “Tee-Yod” and “4 Kings 2”.
The company has continuously expanded branches in many provinces making the number of 2023 admission 55% higher than 2022 and also increased Bowling & Karaoke business revenue from organizing social events which responded to positive feedback from customers.
Moreover, the company also recognized profits from gain on disposals investment in 2023 that increased 220 million baht from gain on disposals investment of M Pictures Entertainment Public Co., Ltd., in amount of 346 million baht in the 2nd quarter of 2023 and gain on disposals investment of Thai Ticket Major Co., Ltd., in amount of 121 million baht in the 3rd quarter of 2022.
In addition, MAJOR announced a dividend payment of THB 0.15 per share to be paid on 30 April 2024. The ex-dividend date is 9 April 2024.
