KH Academy Puts Spotlight on Online Fraud and Financial Crime Awareness at KH Legal Aid Seminar

KH Academy is advancing the core mission of “Kaohoon Turakij” to contribute to and elevate the quality of Thai society by launching the KH Legal Aid Project. This initiative provides legal training and seminars to the general public to enhance understanding of rights and responsibilities, reduce the risk of legal violations, and safeguard against deception by criminals.

On Saturday, May 24, 2025, the KH Legal Aid project held a seminar on the topic, “Financial Crime and Online Scams.” The event featured a distinguished guest speaker, Ms. Benjaporn Watcharavutthichai, Provincial Public Prosecutor attached to the Office of the Attorney General. The seminar covered the current situation of online scams, key criminal tactics, relevant legal prosecution processes, as well as remedies and protection of victims’ rights.

The objective was to raise public awareness about the ever-evolving threats of cybercrime and equip participants with knowledge to guard themselves against online scams, assert their rights, and protect their assets and personal data. The seminar attracted significant interest from the general public, including university students, who attended in large numbers.

Participants praised the KH Legal Aid initiative for its valuable contribution to society, offering accessible, practical legal knowledge from leading experts, especially on topics directly relevant to everyday life. They remarked that the seminar fostered a better understanding of various forms of cyber threats and provided practical insights into civil and criminal legal processes that can be readily applied in daily situations.

KH Legal Aid, a social initiative, is scheduled to take place monthly without any fees. Updates and details can be followed on Facebook, Instagram, and the KH Academy application, available for download on both Android and iOS systems.
