KH Academy, in collaboration with Thailand’s top financial advisory organizations, is moving forward with its ‘Prep for Financial Advisor’ course, now in its fourth iteration.
Aimed at preparing university students for careers as financial advisors, the course provides hands-on theoretical and practical learning from industry experts, equipping participants with comprehensive professional skills and investment perspectives. The program also serves as a platform for building networks and opening doors to future career opportunities.
Mr. Burapha Sanguanwong, Founder of KH Academy, emphasized that the goal of the curriculum is to nurture a new generation of high-quality talent poised to become a vital force in Thailand’s capital market ecosystem with a sustainable, long-term impact.
The course officially kicked off on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the KH Academy Ratchathewi campus. The opening ceremony, presided over by Mr. Burapha, welcomed 59 second-to-fourth-year students from six universities: Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, Kasetsart University, Srinakharinwirot University, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Stamford International University.
Addressing participants, Mr. Burapha said it was encouraging to see so many young people interested in Thailand’s financial and capital markets industry. He noted that, even if not every attendee pursues a direct career in the field, all graduates of this training program will be able to put the practical and theoretical knowledge they gain to use in the profession or in managing businesses in the future. This aligns with KH Academy’s mission to strengthen the foundations of the country’s next generation under a sustainability-driven development model.
The orientation began with a session on basic finance by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanix Bukkavesa, CFA, at Mahidol University International College (MUIC). The afternoon session featured a lecture on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance), focused on sustainable business practices, delivered by Mr. Kasem Prunratanamala, Head of Research at CGS International Securities (Thailand).
The program is further enhanced by partnerships with leading advisory firms, including Asset Pro Management Co., Ltd. and PrimeStreet Advisory (Thailand) Co., Ltd., both of whom contribute a team of seasoned practitioners and experts as instructors. Over one month, from August 16 to September 18, 2025, students will participate in 12 class sessions. The workshop component also offers a team-based scholarship prize of THB 50,000, allowing students to apply what they have learned and further their educational and career prospects.
KH Academy was established to continue the mission of ‘Kaohoon Turakij’ in nurturing the next generation of university students for careers in finance and investment, without charging any fees. The fourth edition of the ‘Prep for Financial Advisor’ program is supported by the Thailand Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF).
