Investors are monitoring the Federal Reserve’s Jackson Hole Economic Symposium, scheduled for August 21-23, to gauge the U.S. interest rate policy, as well as the progress on Russia-Ukraine peace talk.
Domestically, investors are monitoring Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, and former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra’s trial, which could lead to a cautious trading.
The firm set a resistance level for the SET Index at 1,245 and a support level at 1,225 points for today’s session.
Yesterday, Thailand’s SET Index closed at 1,235.76 points, decreased 6.55 points or 0.53% with a trading value of THB 39.59 billion.
