Thai Stock Market Outlook on 8 October 2025

On Wednesday, Maybank Securities (Thailand) expects the Thai market to trade sideways as investors are monitoring the afternoon Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting.

Meanwhile, the securities firm recommends investors closely monitor the U.S. government shutdown situation, as well as the Federal Reserve outlook on the economy and interest rate.

 

The firm set a resistance level for the SET Index at 1,315 points, and a support level at 1,295 points for today’s session.

Yesterday, Thailand’s SET Index closed at 1,305.24 points, increased 19.60 points or 1.52%, with a trading value of THB 34.98 billion.
