Thailand’s SET Index closed at 1,315.64 points, increased 1.36 points or 0.10%, with a trading value of THB 33.46 billion. The analyst stated that the Thai market traded sideways and settled slightly higher, due to buying force in AOT, DELTA, and ICT stocks.
Meanwhile, investors are monitoring tonight’s Federal Reserve meeting and the U.S.-China trade talks at the APEC summit later this week.
The analyst expects the Thai market to potentially surge tomorrow, contingent upon an expected rate cut by the Fed, with signals for a more accommodative monetary policy.
Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul led a delegation to the Republic of Korea (South Korea) to attend the 32nd APEC Economic Leaders’ Week (AELW), held from October 29 to November 1, 2025, in Gyeongju.

He outlined that the influx of fentanyl into the United States, as well as issues affecting American farmers, will be among the main topics.
He also stated that he intends to discuss Nvidia’s advanced Blackwell artificial intelligence chip with President Xi in their Thursday meeting.
The fate of Nvidia’s high-end AI chips—sales of which to China accounted for 13% of the U.S. company’s revenue last fiscal year—has been a key issue in prolonged trade negotiations between Washington and Beijing in 2025.
