GPSC Gains 2% following Delivery of Large-Scale Solar Projects, Reinforcing Growth Outlook

On Tuesday at 11:45 AM (Bangkok time), the share price of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (SET: GPSC) rose by 2.19% or THB 0.75 to THB 35.00, with a trading value of THB 112.70 million.

GPSC disclosed that its wholly owned subsidiary, Combined Heat and Power Producing Company Limited (CHPP), has recently delivered two key renewable energy projects for Toyota Motor Thailand. The projects, with a combined installed capacity of 21 megawatts, reflect GPSC’s strategic push into clean energy solutions for the industrial sector.

The initiatives comprise an 18-megawatt solar farm at the Toyota Ban Pho plant in Chachoengsao province and a 3.77-megawatt solar rooftop installation at the Toyota Samrong plant in Samut Prakan province.

Both projects were executed on a turnkey basis, covering design, procurement, installation, and system testing. CHPP’s engineering teams ensured the projects adhered to rigorous international standards for quality and safety, aligning with the broader shift among Thai manufacturers toward carbon neutrality.

These deliveries are part of GPSC’s ongoing expansion in the renewable energy market, having already conducted EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) work for over 107 megawatts, with annual growth targeted at 125 megawatts.

The company aims to support the Thailand Power Development Plan (PDP) and maximize clean energy use in industry through direct power purchase agreements (PPAs), contributing to the nation’s decarbonization efforts.

CHPP continues to target customers beyond the PTT Group, meeting growing demand for advanced, environmentally friendly energy technologies and supporting competitive growth in Thailand’s manufacturing sector.

According to an IAA Consensus analyst poll, GPSC’s average target price for 2025 stands at THB 46.29 per share, with a median of THB 45.00 and a high estimate of THB 56.00, reflecting ongoing confidence in the company’s earnings outlook and long-term growth potential.
