CENTEL Surges 1% on New Market Expansion Strategies, Eyes Revenue Growth in 2026

On Thursday at 11:30 AM (Bangkok time), the share price of Central Plaza Hotel Public Company Limited (SET: CENTEL) increased by 0.81% or THB 0.25 to THB 31.00, with a trading value of THB 29.68 million.

Mr. Thirayuth Chirathivat, Chief Executive Officer of CENTEL, stated that the company expects its revenue per available room (RevPAR) to increase by approximately 5% year-on-year in 2025. This anticipated growth is driven by CENTEL’s strategy to focus on high-potential tourist segments and to further expand into new markets. During the first nine months of 2025, RevPAR stood at 4,106 baht per room per night.

Looking ahead to 2026, the company remains optimistic that its operational performance will continue to improve, with revenue targeted to grow by 10-15% compared to 2025. This target will be pursued through ongoing market expansion initiatives.

Mr. Thirayuth also highlighted that sustainable tourism continues to be a prevailing trend supporting sector growth. In response, CENTEL has introduced the “C-E-N-T-A-R-A Sustainability Blueprint”—its key long-term strategy for guiding environmental practices and reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainability.

In 2025, all 42 of CENTEL’s hotels and resorts, both in Thailand and overseas, achieved full certification by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), in line with the company’s stated objectives. Achieving GSTC certification across all properties, along with ongoing reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, underscores CENTEL’s commitment to environmental stewardship.

The company intends to continue innovating and developing environmental programs to achieve its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) targets, while ensuring valuable and sustainable travel experiences for future guests.

CENTEL believes that business growth should be aligned with responsibility towards society, the environment, and the communities it serves. The organization is therefore committed to elevating industry standards and ensuring balanced development in the Thai tourism sector.

The C-E-N-T-A-R-A Sustainability Blueprint comprises seven pillars: environment, greenhouse gas reduction, renewable energy and efficiency, effective water management, systematic waste management, social and community engagement, and governance.

Mr. Thirayuth added that CENTEL will launch six additional managed hotels in 2026 across Qatar, Vietnam, Nepal, and Saudi Arabia. In addition, Centara Life Osaka—a wholly owned property—will begin operations in late April or early May 2026. The company also expects its renovated hotel in Krabi to reopen within the same period.
