Jasmine International (Public) Co., Ltd. (SET: JAS) has entered into a broadcast agreement to acquire the exclusive rights to audiovisual content of the Premier League in Vietnam. This comes after JAS secured exclusive live broadcasting rights of the Premier League and Emirates FA Cup in Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos, with Monomax working as the main platform distributor.
JAS will broadcast Premier League football in Vietnam via various channels, including the internet, direct-to-home satellite television (DTH), digital terrestrial television (DTT), cable TV, IPTV services, and over-the-top (OTT) services. This includes highlights of the Premier League for five and a half consecutive seasons, starting from January 1, 2026, covering parts of the 2025/26 season, as well as the 2026/27, 2027/28, 2028/29, 2029/30, and 2030/31 seasons,
In this regard, JAS has entered into a major cooperation agreement with FPT Telecom Co., Ltd. (FPT Telecom), a subsidiary of FPT Corporation (FPT Corporation) in Vietnam, a major telecommunications company that provides the “FPT Play” platform, which has more than 35 million subscribers in Vietnam, according to DecisionLab and the Vietnam Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), providing uninterrupted access to top football matches. FPT Play’s official broadcasting rights for the English Premier League (EPL) in Vietnam will commence on January 1, 2026.
Regarding this long-term collaboration, Dr. Soraj Asavaprapha, Chief Executive Officer of JAS, said “This deal is built on our acquisition of Premier League rights in Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos. Recognizing Vietnam’s strategic importance and potential, we reached an agreement with the Premier League to acquire the rights to broadcast Premier League football in Vietnam.
We have selected FPT Telecom as our local distributor, with the partnership set to deliver a target of 1.5 million subscribers in the first year. This package includes nearly 200 matches from the 2025/26 season and another 1,900 matches over five seasons, from 2026/27 to 2030/31. All matches will be available on the FPT Play platform with Vietnamese commentary, and some matches will be broadcast live in 4K.”

As a leading television service provider, we immediately initiated negotiations when the opportunity arose. With our robust infrastructure and cutting-edge technology, FPT Play is poised to usher in a new era of Premier League viewing in Vietnam, making it more accessible and personalized for all football fans.”
The Board of Directors’ meeting No. 12/2025 held on Monday, December 8, 2025, approved the acquisition of the aforementioned assets. JAS will enter into a long-term contract and expects the transaction to be completed no later than December 31, 2025.
