SCC Jumps 4% as Attractive Valuation and Growth Prospects Drive Optimism

On Friday at 11:17 AM (Bangkok time), the share price of The Siam Cement Public Company Limited (SET: SCC) jumped by 4.24% or THB 7.50 to THB 184.50, with a trading value of THB 566.35 million.

UOB Kay Hian Securities (Thailand) (UOBKH) wrote that SCC is among the stocks trading below its book value. While the company’s petrochemical segment continues to face weak spreads and has yet to see a recovery, its cement and building materials (CBM) business remains on a growth path, albeit at a slower pace.

The ongoing investment cycle and continued government spending are expected to support stable cement sales growth. Additionally, an increase in cement prices since April 2025 has provided further support for the company.
