Dr. Veerapol Khemarangsan, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Piyawat Ratchapolsitte, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Medeze Group Public Company Limited (SET: MEDEZE), attended an international academic conference held at Four Points by Sheraton, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The conference was organized under the theme “Shaping the Future of Medicine,” with an emphasis on compliance with global standards, medical innovation, biobank infrastructure, physician training approaches, and ethical principles in the context of regenerative medicine.
Participants comprised academics and distinguished individuals from Nigeria and abroad, including Dr. Tatiana Zhelinova, an expert in regenerative medicine; Dr. Chris Paulus, Executive Director of the American Board of Regenerative Medicine; and Dr. Adedotun Ajelabi, Medical Director of Medlyfe Wellness and Regenerative Medicine Centre.
MEDEZE Group presented and emphasized international best practices in cell banking, biobank ecosystem management, the application of regenerative therapy and cell therapy for medical and economic benefits, sustainable regenerative medicine business models, and various structures in emerging markets.
The discussion also covered the role of biotechnology in promoting longevity and its future application in healthcare. Key highlights included developing Nigeria as a collaborative hub for modern medicine, investment in biotechnology, and the initiation of biomedicine regulation.
